Web-Toilet

Web Toilet is a design blogg made for shitting on the "web 2.0 look". It also contains the personal thoughts and ideas of the author, Tor Máhtte Eira Mathisen. Web Toilet will show sites that people think are "beautiful", but in fact they're butt ugly. The "web 2.0 look" is a disease. Together we can fight them off! Web Toilet will also showcase some of the best built sites, and also the most talented designers in the bussiness. Why do they not bend to the trends? I love this design.

Personal, Ugly Sites, Web 2.027 Feb

It’s been going kinda slow here on web toilet. Mainly because of other projects, school and guitar hero 3. But I’m starting a new weekly post now, ugly sites. I’ll showcase 5 ugly sites I’ve found while stumbling and surfing over the web.

Finaly! The opening of Web Toilet!

        A little backstory

Well, the story behind this site. This “blog” was created in the matter of minutes in my mind after me, and a buddy of mine, Magnus Nyland, were talking about the “web 2.0 look”, and how much I hate that cursed trend. Firstly I came up with the idea of the slogan, which would be “Shitting on the web 2.0 look”, and hey, what do you know? The name came right after.

The whole idea behind this fancy name is that Web Toilet will be showing you ugly sites(with the web 2.0 look), beautiful sites, talented people and some tutorials on how NOT to go down in history as a designer who bowed to the web 2.0 trend. The site will also be held hostage to my personal ideas and projects, as well as some guest writers when the time is right.
