Web-Toilet

Web Toilet is a design blogg made for shitting on the "web 2.0 look". It also contains the personal thoughts and ideas of the author, Tor Máhtte Eira Mathisen. Web Toilet will show sites that people think are "beautiful", but in fact they're butt ugly. The "web 2.0 look" is a disease. Together we can fight them off! Web Toilet will also showcase some of the best built sites, and also the most talented designers in the bussiness. Why do they not bend to the trends? I love this design.

    Iminta

    Iminita.com has the ugliest color palette I’ve seen in a while. And what the hell is up with the drop shadow? The header has an okay drop shadow, but then the content part comes up and.. Well.. It gets ugly.

    Reble

    Reble surely has reflect. And that DAMN ugly blue gradient in the background. Ew. And also, the idea isn’t exactly new. You can’t jump after Last.fm.

    Yaca paca!

    Yaca Paca! Damn, look at that AWESOME illustration. Oh dear god. And the reflect. It’s not even made properly. MS Paint, anyone?

    Kosmix

    Kosmix. I don’t quite get the idea behind this site. And, what’s up with the reflect and that star? Argh. Could also mention the SCANLINES. Damn.

    MeeMix. Holy crap. SO MUCH REFLECT! Ahh, I’m out of words.. Just.. Look at it.

    In other news;

    I’ve began working on a new project. To be specific; a design community. Probably been mentioned before. But I think it will be good.

    Jeez..
    If there were such a thing as a “web 2.0″ soundtrack, it should absolutely contained the phrase “my gradients protected, my other shit reflected” or something similar :D
